Guitar was originated in Spain in 16th century.Its original name is guitarra latina.2 strings were added in modern guitar.It was notated either in showing the position of the fingers on the frets and the strings to be plucked or in a system of alphabetical chord symbols.It gained popularty in 17th century.It is the life of music.Lead,Rhythm and bass are most popular type in world music.

Banjo is stringed musical instrument that was origined from Africa.Standard banjo has five metal strings middle C. Preceding the C string is the chanterelle, a shorter string fastened to a screw midway in its neck. It is tuned to the (notated) second G above middle C. The actual pitch is an octave lower than notated.In the 1890s, frets were added to the long neck and a machine head with screws replaced the tuning pegs.It is mostly played in American folk music and jazz.

He was vocalist of The Beatles.Later he did solo career with C.He was raised in Woolton, a Liverpool suburb by his maternal aunt, Mimi Smith.She taught him to play the banjo.At age 21 he married Cynthia Powell and divorced in 1968.At age 28 he married Yoko Ono who was seven years older than him.He founded a skiffle band that became The Beatles.He was inborn musician.He left The Beatles due to relationship with Yoko Ono.He then was in 'Plastic Ono Band'.It also gained popularty but not as his previous band.All his life he sang against wrong and war.His most popular political saying is of feminism.

He was depressed and worst in condition when he seperated from Ono in 1973.His music then was no good.They again reunited and gave birth to son named Sean.Sean was born on his father birthday in 1975.He became far from music and stayed in house.Business affairs were handled by Ono.He was shot dead by his fan Mark David Chapman in his Manhattan apartment building.

Coldplay



Coldplay begined their journey in 1998 at University College, London, with the grouping of pianist-vocalist Chris Martin and guitarist Jon Buckland.Guy Berryman then joined Coldplay on bass and Will Champion for guitarist but later played drums. Coldplay entered the U.K. Top 100 chart in 1999 from the song "Brothers & Sisters".2005 song "Speed of Sound" made Coldplay the first British group after Beatles to enter the U.S. charts in the Top Ten.That song entered from eigth position.
'Parachutes' made the band its first Grammy Award.

BOB MARLEY

Robert Nesta Marley is Jamaican singer and songwriter.His maternal

grandfather was a prosperous farmer and bush doctor adept at the

mysticism-steeped herbal healing that got respect in Jamaica.He was shy

aloofness his big chance came in 1961 to record with producer Leslie

Kong.He formed a vocal group in Trench Town with friends who would

later be known as Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer.They named them

Wailers.The Wailers did well in Jamaica during the mid-1960s with their

ska records.Peter Tosh was murderd in 1987.Eric Clapton's version of

the Wailers.

"kati kamjor rahecha bhagya", means my fortune seems to be weak.
It is one of Deep Shrestha's forever song.Born in Nepal and rocked Nepalese across the world.Gifted lord of singer was born on December 16,1961 in Dharan.His songs are among favourite in all age groups.But the sour is that he not so popular as his song.

His father died when he was just 13.He completed his school in 2023 B.S.(1974 A.D.) which used to be great achievement in studies those days.He got inspiration from his parents.He grew in musical background.His father was musician and mother was singer.His first composition was "ma pathar ko deveta hoiena" which means I am not god of stone.

His most popular recording are as follows:

"Mayalu roop cha timro" impressed late king Mahendra and he recomended him to record his first song in Radio Nepal.Radio Nepal was only radio station in Nepal those days.He became paitent of T.B. in 2030 B.S.(2049 A.D.).British Camp provided him regular treatment.After taking medicine he threw his illness.In Nepal only few singers makes living from music.He has got most from it.It is very heart touching when we watch him live perfrming.

He is lord of Nepalese clasical,rock and pop music.43% peoples knows his song but doesn't know him.His lyrics is also brilliant like he himself. He recorded more than 400 songs and got dozen of awards.Now his future plan is to re-record his old songs.He is now busy with new released album "yatra" which means journey.It is now uleased to hammer your heart.
