John Lennon




John Winston Ono Lennon.

born on October 9 1940
Liverpool, England.

died on December 8 1980
New York,U.S.

He was vocalist of The Beatles.Later he did solo career with C.He was raised in Woolton, a Liverpool suburb by his maternal aunt, Mimi Smith.She taught him to play the banjo.At age 21 he married Cynthia Powell and divorced in 1968.At age 28 he married Yoko Ono who was seven years older than him.He founded a skiffle band that became The Beatles.He was inborn musician.He left The Beatles due to relationship with Yoko Ono.He then was in 'Plastic Ono Band'.It also gained popularty but not as his previous band.All his life he sang against wrong and war.His most popular political saying is of feminism.

He was depressed and worst in condition when he seperated from Ono in 1973.His music then was no good.They again reunited and gave birth to son named Sean.Sean was born on his father birthday in 1975.He became far from music and stayed in house.Business affairs were handled by Ono.He was shot dead by his fan Mark David Chapman in his Manhattan apartment building.
